This site was established in late 2005 and attempts to describe an ever-changing field. It is a resource for artists and arts professionals, as well as the general public, to help them find the unique and valuable assistance that arts service organizations throughout the state of New York provide.
With the support of the New York State Council on the Arts, the Alliance for the Arts has developed this new searchable Web portal that will serve as a reference resource for artists and arts professionals.
These Web pages reflect individual arts service organizations statewide, including discipline-specific organizations, and will provide ready access to information about the services and products that arts service groups statewide have to offer. In addition, each profile includes the organization's own mission statement as submitted to NYSCA so that users may better understand the organization's activities.
