Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum Niagara County
Operated by the Carrousel Society of the Niagara Frontier since 1983, the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum in North Tonawanda occupies the former factory campus of the Allan Herschell Company founded in 1915. Over the course of four decades of operation in Niagara County, the company turned out over 3,000 wooden carrousels and shipped them to amusement parks and public venues around the globe. Now listed on the New York State and National Registers of Historic Places, the complex features an original 1916 Herschell carrousel that guests may ride, wood carving classes and exhibitions on the history of the amusement industry.

Niagara University—Castellani Art Museum Niagara County
Founded by local supermarket magnate Armand Castellani (1917-2002), the Castellani Museum of Art began as a small gallery on a branch campus of Niagara University in 1978. The Castellani collection of modern and contemporary art is now housed in a museum built by Thomas Moscati in 1990. The Castellani Museum of Art holds exhibitions ranging from large-scale group shows to intimate one-person retrospectives.

Tonawandas Council on the Arts/Carnegie Art Center Niagara County
Housed in a former library built by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie in 1903, the Carnegie Art Center presents exhibitions by local and national artists in addtion to a multifaceted arts education and workshop program. In 2005, the center participated in the Beyond/In Western New York exhibition that featured the work of Western New York and Southern Ontario-based contemporary artists at 13 venues around the region.
