- Airport Playhouse Suffolk County
- Located two miles away from the Long Island MacArthur Airport, the Airport Playhouse brings the Suffolk County community of Bohemia ten full-scale musical productions each year. The Children’s Theatre features performances by local schoolchildren in 12 plays or musicals that are held at the playhouse and at local Long Island schools.
- Arena Players Repertory Theatre Suffolk County
- Bringing an eclectic mix of traditional and experimental theater productions to Long Island’s Suffolk County since its beginning in 1950, today the Arena Players perform in a duplex space called the Second Stage in East Farmingdale. During the summer months, the Players hold their annual Shakespeare in the Park series at the Vanderbilt Mansion in Centerport, as well as a children’s series in the Vanderbilt Mansion’s newly renovated Carriage House Theatre.
- Atlantic Wind Symphony Suffolk County
- With performances held at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on Long Island, the Atlantic Wind Symphony is a professional orchestra comprised solely of Long Island-based musicians. Founded in 1968, the symphony holds concerts throughout the year, including its annual Holiday Festival that features multi-denominational seasonal music.
- Babylon Citizens' Council on the Arts Suffolk County
- An arts service organization founded in 1974, the Babylon Citizens' Council on the Arts provides arts classes, performances and festivals throughout the year to residents and visitors of Suffolk County on Long Island. Each August, the council organizes the Long Island Bluegrass Festival in Copiague's Tanner Park.
- Bay Street Theatre Suffolk County
- At its 300-seat theater in Sag Harbor, Bay Street Theatre presents new and classic plays. The company also presents children’s theater and reading series.
- Cinema Arts Centre Suffolk County
- The Cinema Arts Centre is a movie theater in Huntington that brings independent and foreign films to Long Island on a regular schedule throughout the year. The center features an organic café that serves meals and light refreshments prior to and after each screening.
- Cold Spring Harbor Whaling Museum Suffolk County
- This Suffolk County museum has recorded and displayed the history of the 19th-century whaling industry since 1942. One of the biggest industries for historic Long Island, whaling was central to the maritime activities of Cold Spring Harbor for over 100 years. The museum displays artifacts relating to this trade through exhibitions drawn from over 6,000 objects, including one of the nation’s best scrimshaw collections and New York State’s only fully intact 19th-century whaleboat. The museum also offers an extensive children’s education program that includes hands-on displays and arts classes.
- East End Arts & Humanities Council Suffolk County
- An arts service organization serving the towns of Brookhaven, Riverhead, Shelter Island, Southampton and Southold, the arts council produces the Wine Press Concert Series, the annual Riverhead Community Mosaic, held along the Riverfront on Memorial Day Weekend and a series of annual gospel concerts in the fall. The arts council also houses a gallery that mounts 12 shows a year.
- Friends Bay Shore-Brightwaters Library Suffolk County
- Each year, the Friends Bay Shore-Brightwaters Library in Suffolk County hosts the Friends Performing Arts Series from September through May that welcomes national and international theater troupes, dancers and musicians to Long Island. Past performances have included Shakespearean plays, the New York Theatre Ballet, pianist Leon Bates and jazz. All performances are held at Suffolk Community College’s Western Campus in Brentwood. In addition to the Performing Arts Series, the library also hosts the Dr. George Goodman Memorial Film and Lecture Series that brings international films to the community each autumn.
- Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council Suffolk County
- A multi-arts center in the North Shore area of Long Island, the Greater Port Jefferson-Northern Brookhaven Arts Council holds frequent programming in the visual and performing arts throughout the year. In addition to concerts, arts workshops and theatrical performances, the council also hosts the Village Cinema Film Series, a collection of eight documentaries followed by related lectures held on certain Monday evenings August through December.
