Arts of the Southern Finger Lakes (The ARTS) Steuben County
Based in downtown Corning, The ARTS holds exhibitions in its “Window on Market Street” storefront gallery featuring the work of local artists from Chemung, Schuyler and Steuben counties. The ARTS also funds a public art project that placed an outdoor installation called Daydream in Corning’s Gaffer District and a Folk Art Program that has featured the work of a local Polish-American Easter egg artist.
ArtsWestchester Westchester County
Located in the historic People’s National Bank & Trust building in downtown White Plains, the newly renovated Arts Exchange is home to the ArtsWestchester, the largest arts council in the State of New York. Since 1965, the ArtsWestchester has displayed the work of area artists and been an advocate for the local arts and business communities. The multi-use Arts Exchange features exhibition galleries, low-cost rental space for arts organizations and a Cultural Tourism Centre on the ground floor.
Babylon Citizens' Council on the Arts Suffolk County
An arts service organization founded in 1974, the Babylon Citizens' Council on the Arts provides arts classes, performances and festivals throughout the year to residents and visitors of Suffolk County on Long Island. Each August, the council organizes the Long Island Bluegrass Festival in Copiague's Tanner Park.
