Chapman Historical Museum at the Glens Falls-Queensbury Historical Association Warren County
Housed in a Victorian mansion built in 1868 by the DeLong family of Glens Falls, the museum of the Glens Falls–Queensbury Historical Association is devoted to Warren County and the southern Adirondacks. The museum is known particularly for its collection of the photographs of the prolific 19th-century Adirondacks photographer Seneca Ray Stoddard, which are shown in regularly changing temporary exhibits. The museum also offers a research archive and organizes the Glens Falls Collaborative Community History Project documenting the past of this important 19th-century trading hub.
